financially needy students pursuing a course of study leading to a diploma,
associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing. Nursing student loans are
usually low-interest rate loans.
You can get nursing student loans (NSL) during your course of study which is
covered by different statutory provisions as a result of legislative changes in
the Program. Nursing Student Loans are governed by the provisions which were in
effect at the time loans you took nursing student loans.
You can apply for nursing student loan at the student financial aid office of
the school where you are or intend to be enrolled.

You can contact the Loan Department for any questions pertaining specifically
to your loan repayment terms or schedule.
The total amount of nursing student loan, plus accrued interest, can be repaid
over a ten-year period beginning immediately after the nine month grace period
expires.
You can prepay all or any part of nursing student loan principal and accrued
interest at any time even before it becomes due.
Repayment is made to the University.
Nursing student loan program allows deferment of repayment in certain
instances.
Until your nursing student loan is repaid, you must keep the Loan Department
informed of any Change of address.
Failure to make payments:-
As Payments made by you are the primary source of nursing student loan funds for
current students your failure to make payments could endanger your school's
eligibility to continue loaning nursing student loan funds to students. if you
fail to remit payment as per the repayment schedule, the school can force
aggressive collection efforts, which can include use of collection agents,
litigation and credit bureaus.
